FAQ
Don’t see your question here? Shoot me a message and I’ll happily answer it as soon as I can
Q: What safety measures do you offer?
Unlike your typical tradie, I understand that having a random stranger in your house on a Tuesday morning isn’t always a super fun experience. That’s why I prioritise chronic health awareness, sensory needs, and COVID safety. I’m always happy to accommodate your safety needs.
During the booking process, feel free to let me know how I can make your experience as comfortable and safe as possible. Whether it’s wearing a mask in your home or working in the quietest way possible, I take your needs seriously.
Q: Do you offer any forms of financial assistance?
Yes! I offer payment plans and am a registered NDIS provider.
Q: What happens if the job ends up costing more than the quote?
I take pricing very seriously. Part of being an inclusive service is ensuring that lower or fixed-income clients can set their budget with confidence. I will always strive to find a solution that works within your means. That said, sometimes jobs turn out bigger than expected. If this happens, I will communicate with you as soon as the task expands so we can make a plan together before proceeding.
Q: How do I pay you?
Once a job is complete, you’ll receive a texted invoice with the total amount. Feel free to request a full breakdown of costs, which may include:Call-out fee ($100–$150)
Labour (for any time after the first hour)
Materials (only charged if required for the job)
Additional fees (e.g., landfill costs, tolls)
You can pay via cash (if you're home), bank transfer, or PayID.Invoices must be paid within three working days, but special considerations can be made for those in need.
Q: What jobs can you help me with?
Heaps! You can find a full list of services in the Services tab. I’m all about problem-solving, so if you’ve got a job that isn’t listed, shoot me a message and I’ll let you know if it’s in my wheelhouse.“Too weird” isn’t in my vocabulary—if you need me to get pasta off the ceiling despite having no idea how it got up there, I’m your gal.
Q: What can’t you help me with?
As the saying goes:
"A jack of all trades is a master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one."My expertise lies in being good at lots of little things, but for bigger jobs, I defer to specialists. For any major electrical, plumbing, or structural building work, you’ll need someone licensed in those trades.Need a recommendation? Reach out! I can point you in the right direction.
